Welcome to Maavee!  We are eager to activate you on our platform.  The first step in the activation process is to collect your company/brand and product/service assets based on our specific requirements.  This ensures we can present your great products and services in the best possible light and in alignment with Maavee’s brand guidelines.

As outlined in the Agreement, by providing your Brand Partner Assets to Maavee, you consent to allow Maavee to include the Product(s) and Service(s) for sale to Users in the Platform.  Please note that Maavee may modify the Brand Partner Assets (including images and copy) to ensure that they align with the Maavee brand guidelines and visual identity.  From time to time, should you change any of your Brand Partner Assets, including consent for Maavee to sell,  please communicate these changes to Maavee immediately at brandsupport@gomaavee.com.

Collection Instructions

\n

We are here to help if you have any questions at all.  Please contact your Brand Partner Manager or send us a message at brandsupport@gomaavee.com.  The following steps have been created to make this process as clear and simple as possible:

Overview

The Service Level Agreements (“SLAs”) are intended to ensure a smooth and successful relationship between Brand Partner and Maavee and to provide the best possible experience to End Customers.  All SLAs are expressed in hours and business days unless otherwise noted. The following SLAs are organized into three sections depending on the nature of our relations.  Specifically, the sections that follow apply to (i) all Brand Partners, (ii) Brand Partners that dropship products, and (iii) Brand Partners that provide digital services.

\n

 

\n

Service Level Agreements

\n

FOR ALL BRAND PARTNERS

\n

Order Notification

\n

Maavee shall instantly notify Brand Partner of an Order, including on non-business days.  This notification shall either occur within the Brand Partner’s e-commerce or other application if the Order Service is active.  Otherwise, the notification shall occur via e-mail notification and the Brand Partner may access the Order details via the Order Management Portal.

\n

Service Requests

\n

Maavee will provide first-line customer service to its Users.  If Maavee cannot answer the inquires and depending on the nature of the inquiry, Maavee may at its discretion, direct the Users to the Brand Partner. In the case where Maavee needs to escalate and/or engage Brand Partner directly, Brand Partner shall respond to requests for service from Maavee as follows:

Brand Partner Assets

\n

Brand Partner shall provide necessary Brand Partner Assets within 10 business days following the execution of any Commercial Terms Addendum.  Updates to Brand Partner Assets such as modifications shall be communicated to Maavee as necessary.

\n

Billing

\n

Maavee will provide an order summary report to Brand Partner within three business days following the end of the month.  Brand Partner will provide a monthly invoice to Maavee no later than the 10th day of the month.  Maavee will pay all invoices net 30 days.  All billing inquiries can be sent to accounting@gomaavee.com.

\n

 

\n

FOR DROPSHIP BRAND PARTNERS ONLY (Products) 

\n

Order Fulfillment

\n

Brand Partner shall fulfill each Order within one business day of the Order date/time stamp.  Brand Partner must update the Order record with status and shipment tracking details through the Order Service or the Order Management Portal for the Order to be considered fulfilled.

\n

Shipping Packaging

\n

While we would like to eventually eliminate the packing slip, for the time being, Brand Partner shall use the Maavee packing slip which is available through the Order Services or Order Management Portal.  Brand Partner shall make reasonable efforts to utilize sustainable packaging, wherever possible.

\n

Inventory Updates

\n

In the case where the Order Service is not activated (therefore inventory is not automatically synchronized between Brand Partner’s e-commerce system and the Platform) and the Brand Partner is using the Order Management Portal, Brand Partner will provide inventory updates at follows:

In the case where stock is likely to be unavailable, Brand Partner will provide Maavee with reasonable advance notice.

\n

Allowable Returns

\n

Requests for Returns shall be processed in accordance with Maavee’s customer-facing return policy.  Allowable Returns will be initiated by Maavee through a Customer Service Request to the Brand Partner.  If the Return is due to a perceived defective Product, Brand Partner shall provide a shipping account number or label at Brand Partner’s expense.  If the Return is for another reason, the End Customer shall pay the shipping costs.  Upon receipt of any Returns, Brand Partner will process all returns within 24 hours during regular business days.  Maavee shall reimburse the End Customer within 24 hours of successful returns.

\n

FOR DIGITAL SERVICES BRAND PARTNERS ONLY

\n

Order Fulfillment and Service Activation

\n

For each successful Order, Brand Partner shall make the Digital Service available instantly to the End Customer when using the Order Service* or within one Business Day if using the Order Management Portal. When using the latter, Brand Partner and Maavee shall agree on an order activation workflow that offers the best possible End Customer experience. Brand Partner shall transmit the activation date back to Maavee through the Order Service* or the Order Management Portal.

\n

Subscription Cancellation

\n

Requests for Subscription Cancellations will be made directly to Maavee by End Customer and processed in accordance with Maavee’s End Customer policies.  For each approved Subscription Cancellation, Maavee shall notify Brand Partner instantly through the Order Management Service or the Order Management Portal. Brand Partner shall process the cancellation instantly when using the Order Service* or within one Business Day when using the Order Management Portal and transmit the deactivation date back to Maavee through the Order Service or the Order Management Portal.

*Note: the Order Service for Digital Service Brand Partners only is a service that requires technical implementation of Maavee APIs.  This capability is currently planned for Q4 2022 (subject to change). In the meantime, all Digital Service Brand Partners will leverage the Order Management Portal.

Overview

In addition to Workers Compensation or the equivalent required by law in the brand partner’s local jurisdiction, the following insurance coverages are required from brand partners in order to be included in the Maavee platform.  These coverages, including any approved deviations, will be designated and agreed to in any Commercial Terms Addendum to the Master Agreement.

*Maavee must be named as an additional insured on the Commercial General Liability and other relevant policies. The Certificate(s) of Insurance (COI) should be provided as outlined in the Brand Parter Assets Guide. Welcome to the Maavee Order Service (“MOS”)!  Maavee will be offering your great products for sale and completing the order transaction on the Maavee platform.  Since we will not be carrying inventory, we will rely on a dropship model whereby orders are transmitted to our brand partners for fulfillment.  As such, data must flow seamlessly between our companies in order to provide the best possible experience to end customers. The MOS will support the following business processes to start:

The great news is that establishing a connection between the Maavee platform and your e-commerce applications does not require technical resources or skills.  The MOS is available to all brand partners that use the following e-commerce platforms:

Maavee Order Service Activation

\n

Please review the instructions below in the section specific to your e-commerce platform.  After completing the necessary steps, the Maavee Brand Partner Operations Team will be in touch to confirm a successful connection following which we will complete a few test orders to ensure that order data is flowing between systems as expected.

To activate the MOS, please follow the simple steps below in order to complete this process.  (Note: a more detailed overview is available in this Shopify Activation Guide):

(1) You will need to create a “custom app” within Shopify. That sounds a lot scarier than it is. First, you must enable custom app development. (Note: Only the store owner can enable custom app development.)

  1. In your Shopify Admin Console, go to <Apps>

  2. Click <Develop apps>
    3. \n
  3. Select <Allow custom app development>
    4. \n
  4. After reading the warnings and information displayed, click <Allow custom app development>

(2) Then go to Apps > Develop apps > Create an app

(3) Enter name and contact email address for the Maavee platform:

(4) Now, set the necessary permissions by selecting <Configure Admin API Scopes>:

(6) Click <Install app>.

Using the Maavee Order Service

\n

Now that the MOS is activated and our systems are connected, the following processes are now automated and data will seamlessly flow between our systems:

\n\n

You will now manage orders from Maavee just as you currently do within your e-commerce system. All Maavee orders will be designated with a “MAAVEE” prefix so that you may easily distinguish our orders from those that originate in your own store.

Synch Inventory
\n

It is imperative that your inventory information is current to ensure a great customer experience. The Maavee platform will check your inventory levels as end customers attempt to add products to their shopping bag. If inventory levels do not suffice, the end customer will provided with a message indicating that they product is not available.

Transmit Orders
\n

Orders placed on the Maavee platform will automatically transmitted to your e-commerce application in real time. You will receive new orders and order details as you normally do from your own store.

Maavee orders will include at least the following:

Fulfill Orders
\n

You will fulfill orders as you normally do and in accordance with the Maavee Service Level Agreements. 

\n

For an order to be considered processed and therefore eligible to be invoiced to and paid by Maavee, shipping details and tracking information must be added to the processed order in your e-commerce application. This data will automatically be transmitted back to the Maavee platform through the MOS.

Maavee Order Portal

\n

In circumstances where brand partners cannot activate the MOS (for example, if brand is using an e-commerce platform for which there is not a standard integration), Maavee provides access to orders and other data through the Maavee Order Portal.
